Kim Kardashian’s first husband Damon Thomas rubbishes claims she was ‘on ecstacy’ at their wedding

Kim Kardashian’s first husband Damon Thomas has addressed her wild claims that she ‘did ecstasy’ at their wedding more than 20 years ago.

The Skims boss eloped with the music executive to Las Vegas where they married in January 2000. Kim, 41, was 19 at the time and stayed married to Damon, who was nine years her senior, for four years.

In a 2018 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the mother-of-five stated: ‘I did ecstasy once and I got married. I did it again, I made a sex tape.’

Of course, she filmed the sex tape with ex-boyfriend Ray J but her first husband, Damon, has rubbished her claims that she was on drugs at their wedding.

‘Yeah, I don’t remember that at all,’ Damon said in a recent interview.

He continued to Vlad TV: ‘I think it’s unfair to make those kinds of blanket statements because we have kids now, you know? I have children. My kid goes to the same school her kid goes to.

‘So imagine him when he has to deal with that at school.’

Kim is mother to four children with third husband Kanye West, including North, eight, Chicago, four, and Psalm, two. It’s possible Damon was referring to Kim’s son Saint, six, attending the same school as his child.

He continued: ‘I’ve been very responsible in not talking about what that marriage was or what it meant to me.

‘Because it happened in the past, you can try to sweep it under the rug, but you don’t stay married to somebody or be with somebody for four to five years and it’s just based off of you getting high off of ecstasy, you know what I mean?

‘That doesn’t make any sense at all.’

However, there are no hard feelings on Damon’s side as he revealed he’s spoken to Kim’s mother Kris Jenner at a wedding in recent years.

‘I’m proud of her, I’m proud of her family,’ he stated.

In addition to Damon and Kanye, who she is currently divorcing, Kim was already married to basketball player Kris Humphries but their union famously lasted 72 days in 2011.
